       The 2023 Formula 1 season has come to a close, some drivers have had historical and impressive seasons while the other end of the spectrum lies drivers who must buck up if they want to ensure they are still seated in the cockpit of a Formula 1 car come 2025.   Yuki Tsunoda is now in his third full year of Formula 1. With the AlphaTauri driver looking like he has finally found some form after two years of him not showing that he has that much to offer, many fans are still speculating on whether or not Yuki will still be driving for AlphaTauri, or even Formula 1 as a whole for the 2024 season as there are many other Red Bull junior team members eyeing up the prized seat.   Yuki's performance this year has been a step up from his first two years in the game. However, let's not forget we are still only 3 races into the year and in 2022, his performances in Bahrain and Imola made it seem as though Tsunoda would have the season of his life.  The 2023 Formula 1 season is now underway under the lights of the Bahrain International Circuit! With some drivers leaving the track with delight, while some will have their heads down in what was a thrilling race with winners and losers.  Here are my driver ratings for the 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix: Max Verstappen   -   10   What is there to say about Max Verstappen that hasn't already been said? When he is one with the car, he is basically a missile shooting through the circuit in the race and once he is leading into turn 1, no other driver will ever see him again unless they're getting lapped. Gapping the nearest driver which was his team-mate Sergio Perez, by a whopping 11.9 seconds, it was a rather flawless performance by the dutchman who is on the hunt to secure his 3rd consecutive world title (or 2nd if you cope hard enough). The F1 game franchise is an annual series released by Codemasters, with each game following the F1 season that the game is released during. Each installment to the franchise promises to be bigger and better than the previous, but promises can't always be kept. Though this game is solid when it comes to the single-player modes such as Career, the same cannot be said with multiplayer with bugs, cheaters and an unrealistic handling model causing the game to almost lose it's eSports appeal. Esports appeal is one of the most important parts when it comes to a sim-racing game. With games such as iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and more infamously, rFactor, all thriving in terms of player count and hours spent on the game. With the amount of money the high-end players earn due to their skill and participating in competitions, a casual player would be determined to grind and keep playing the games in hopes that maybe one day, they can make a living out of doing what they love....
